Huntingdonshire Local Group - summer events 2012

Our summer events in 2011 were a great success. Offering opportunities for socialising as well as experiencing some of the delights of the local area we intend to repeat them again in 2012. We will feature some of our great local wildlife sites together with their species.

22nd April 2012 Annual Brampton Wood Guided Walk to see the bluebells.
Meet in the Car park, Brampton Wood, off the Brampton-Grafham Road, GR: TL 184 698 @ 10.30am.
20th May 2012 Aversley Wood guided walk. Led by Martin Baker, Meet at St Judith's Lane car park: TL 171829 at 10.30am
17th June 2012
 Houghton Meadows and geology of the Ouse Valley, Guided Walk. Meet in the St Ivo Car Park, GR: TL 307718 at 10.30am
15th July 2012
 A celebration of 40 years of Trust woodland management,
Lady’s, Gamsey and Raveley Woods Walk.
Meet, Upwood Meadows car park, Meadow Lane, GR: TL 250824 at 10.30am
18th August 2012 “Creatures of the Twilight”, Annual BBQ From 5.00 pm Venue Paxton Pits

We do not charge for the events but a donation is always welcome. Note paths may be muddy.
