The Wildlife Trust Huntingdon Area Group

The Huntingdon Area Group is made up of members of the Wildlife Trust for Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Northamptonshire and Peterborough. We work locally in and around Huntingdon to further the aims of the Wildlife Trust in the area and contribute to the national partnership of Wildlife Trusts. The market town of Huntingdon, forms the centre of the Group area . It stretches as far north as Glatton, south west of Peterborough. To the west it follows the Huntingdon District Council boundary. To the south it lies adjacent to St Neots.

We are local - run by local people, for local wildlife. We welcome anyone who is interested to join our meetings and events. You don't need to be a member of the Wildlife Trust to join in with the Huntingdon area group activities. However, if you do join your annual subscription directly benefits local wildlife. Visit the BCNP web site by clicking on the banner link above left.

Note: 95% of the population of Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Northamptonshire and Peterborough are never more than ten miles from a Wildlife Trust nature reserve. The Huntingdon Area is particularly well represented with sites such as Brampton Wood and Grafham Water amongst our nature reserves!

The Huntingdon Area Group has an Organising Committee members of which ensure that the group activities helps protect local wildlife and has fun doing so! COME AND JOIN US - contact any member of the Committee for more information about the local group activities. Click here for contact details.
